This is the fourth in a series of videos demonstrating how scan data is used for industry applications including 3D printing, reverse engineering and inspection. This video shows what happens when 3D scan data is imported into SpaceClaim. The direct modeling software is used for reverse engineer of 3D scanned parts into CAD models without the complications of a feature-based CAD software. Most of the time a direct modeling software like SpaceClaim gets the job done—faster and simpler.
