This is the third in a series of videos demonstrating how scan data is used for industry applications including 3D printing, reverse engineering and inspection. This video shows what happens when 3D scan data is imported into Geomagic Control. The software is used for quality control and analysis work on parts for single part inspection, batch processing inspection, or automated analysis of parts coming down the assembly line. You can easily program CAD comparisons, GD&T and go/no-go operations to pass or fail parts according to quality standards.
