This is the second in a series of videos demonstrating how scan data is used for industry applications including 3D printing, reverse engineering and inspection. This video explains the use of 3D scan data for 3D printing and inspection using FlexScan3D software, the scanning engine behind the HDI series of 3D scanners. The software has mesh editor functionalities and hole-filling tool to create a watertight 3D model for 3D printing. FlexScan3D also has basic deviation analysis capabilities for inspection.
