This is the first in a series of videos demonstrating the 3D scanning process and how scan data is used for industry applications including 3D printing, reverse engineering and inspection. This video explains how 3D scanning works using a structured-light 3D scanner, HDI Advance. FlexScan3D is the scanning engine behind the HDI series of 3D scanners, which captures and collects 3D scan data and process it into usable 3D file for downstream applications.
